About Bharat Bhushan Foundation

BBF Foundation is a non-profit foundation with vision to build an empowered community of people by uplifting the rural families. The foundation primarily focus on rural education development, reformations through arts & culture, women empowerment through education & financial independence, skill development through various vocational training programmes, health care via free dispensary and awareness camps.

At BBF, we believe in nurturing our community with love, equal opportunities, respect and above all giving back our share towards social responsibility.

Bharat Bhushan Foundation has been set up by our chairperson, Mrs. Uma Agarwal, wife of Late Shri Bharat Bhushan Agarwal, to carry forward his legacy of empowering people through education and giving back to the society. Mr. Agarwal who was a highly experienced civil engineer was at the fore front of real estate development in the Delhi NCR region.  He was a visionary to see the enormous potential in the real estate market, building a long term relationship with his clients and investors, providing them excellent service throughout his illustrious career. Mr. Agarwal deeply cared about giving back to the society, uplifting construction workers and educating them.

Mr. and Mrs. Agarwal have deeply been impacted by power of education, as it is because of education they have the capability to positively impact our community. All of the Agarwal family via their Work Company, Aditya builders and developers, including grandchildren of Mrs Uma Agarwal are actively and selflessly working & volunteering towards their social responsibility.

Aditya builders and developers, through Bharat Bhushan Foundation have significantly contributed & impacted towards development of construction workers and community at large.  Moving well beyond its business activities, Aditya Builders and developers contribute to a progressive society through various initiatives of the four pillars of the BBF. Some of the activities BBF actively contribute towards are Organising vocational training programmes, health check-ups, tree plantation drive, yoga camps, community public library, free dispensary, women empowerment, skill development etc… The foundation has also organised Aan daan projects to feed the hungry.

The efforts of Aditya builders and developers via Bharat Bhushan Foundation have already touched lives of more than 2000 under privileged people including women and children of local community. To maximize reach and improve the outcome of BBF causes, Bharat Bhushan Foundation has joined hands with Nagar Panchayat and identified focused areas for development. Ishani Agarwal following the footsteps and guidance of her grandmother Mrs Uma Agarwal, has set up a public library by joining hands with Nagar Punchayat. She has single headedly raised donations by pooling money and books to transform an old shed in Nagar Panchayat compound into a community public Library, called Dasna Library, which is free and open to all. Ishani, like her grandparents believes in the Nobel cause of education for all, she has selflessly volunteered outside her school timings to loving bring this project to life. Dasna Library offers safe space for women and children to come together to read books, spend community time, attend vocational training and workshops organised by BBF.

Through their humble journey of social responsibility with eyes on future, with a grand vision to adopt villages, Bharat Bhushan Foundation has a comprehensive development approach. Over the years, Bharat Bhushan Foundation has continued to evolve and adapt to the ever changing needs of society.
